Making a Difference One Step at a Time
The Hello Kidney is a grassroots campaign that grew out of the frustration of waiting for a kidney transplant. We are using this shared frustration to draw attention to the need for new registered organ donors.
At The Hello Kidney, well-being is at the forefront of what we’re working towards through Organ Donation Awareness. Our events are designed to be a catalyst to inform people about the importance of Organ Donation.
Our goal is to increase the number of registered organ donors among new drivers in the West Chester population. We are committed to register at least 25 new donors by the end of the 2019/2020 school year.

Inspiration
In 2016, a beloved mother, Julia Emig, was diagnosed with end stage renal failure. The strength she showed every day before receiving a kidney led to the creation of this organization, all based on her fundraiser, Hello Kidney: A Benefit for Julia. The video shows how this life-saving surgery transformed her life.
