OUR MISSION

To Help Others live better lives

The mission of The Hello Kidney is to not only spread organ donation awareness, but also register student and facility in the West Chester Area School District as organ donors through the PennDot online portal. Proceeds raised from our fundraising events will go to help share information, host school assemblies, and help educate our new drivers on why they should check the box.

The Hello Kidney emerged out of the support of the West Chester community! We are motivated by a desire to make our voices heard, and to help inspire others.  Established in 2019, we’re an organization driven to share the importance of Organ Donation and why everyone should be a donor. Contact us to learn more and get involved.

CO- FOUNDER

Tyler Emig

Hi, my name is Tyler Emig. I am 17 years old, a junior in high school and most importantly, I am the co-founder of The Hello Kidney. 4 years ago, my mother was diagnosed with end stage renal failure and now we are waiting for a kidney transplant. As a family we held a benefit, Hello Kidney a Benefit for Julia, to help cover medical costs. Seeing the impact, this benefit had on my family, ignited a spark in me to talk about the importance of Organ Donation! Therefore, as I work to make this brand a symbol of hope and inspiration, I encourage you all you reach out and make yourself a Organ Donor.

Hannah Malesich

CO-FOUNDER

Hi, my name is Hannah Malesich, I am 17 years old and a junior in high school. I helped with the Hello Kidney Benefit for Julia and was inspired by the support that was given to her. Tyler and I conversed and established this organization! I will strive to strike a fire in people so they can see the importance of Organ Donation. Even if just one person changes their status, that is countless numbers of lives that can be helped.
